March 31st - April 11th, 2025
Food for Fines is a fundraiser offered once per year across all campus locations. This program allows eligible individuals to have a parking ticket up to $35 forgiven by donating qualifying items. Individuals may have up to three tickets forgiven. Items are collected at the Parking and Transportation office on the Pocatello campus or the information desk on the Meridian and Idaho Falls campuses.
How does it work?
You will be playing a game of Bingo. If you have a citation and meet the eligibility requirements, you are able to bring in qualifying items to pay for up to 3 citations. Items must be dropped off at either the Parking and Transportation office on the Pocatello campus or the information desk on the Idaho Falls and Meridian campuses. You can go to Benny's Pantry or the drop-off location sites to pick up a Bingo Card. You can also download a bingo card here.
To pay for one citation: Gather all of the items in one row, column, or diagonal (totaling 6 items) to form a bingo and bring them to a drop-off location.
To pay for two citations: Gather all of the items in two rows, columns, or diagonals (totaling 12 items) to form two bingos and bring them to a drop-off location. If there are overlapping items on your bingo card, you must bring in two of those items to total 12 items.
To pay for three citations: You must gather all the items on the bingo card to obtain a blackout (totaling 36 items) and bring them to a drop-off location.
Eligibility
Citations of $35 or less will be eligible, except for the following citations:

Any individual whose vehicle has been towed or those on a payment plan with the Parking and Transportation office will not be eligible to participate.
