Prospective Students — Home School Students
Home school students will need to meet with the Early College program or the Registrar to discuss enrollment possibilities. Students will also need to submit ACT/SAT or COMPASS English and math test scores in place of a high school GPA and obtain the signature of the Early College program or Registrar in place of a high school official signature.
Students may also take the COMPASS test on any ISU campus or at an ISU center for a $5 sitting fee, per test, for English and math. Students must bring with them- 1) photo identification and 2) social security number or ISU ID number. Please call for testing hours. The locations to take the test are:

The Compass test is also available through our Rural Network at our Outreach Centers in Blackfoot, Montpelier, Preston, and Soda Springs and our Resident Centers in Boise and Twin Falls. More infomation about the placement test.
