Early College Program

Prospective Students — Home School Students

Home school students will need to meet with the Early College Program Director or the Registrar to discuss enrollment possibilities. Students will also need to submit ACT/SAT or COMPASS English and math test scores in place of a high school GPA and obtain the signature of the Early College Program Director or Registrar in place of a high school official signature.

Students may take the COMPASS test on any ISU campus or at an ISU center for a $5 fee, per test, for English and math. Students must bring a photo identification with them. Please call for testing hours. The locations to take the test are:

The Compass test is also available through our Rural Network at our Outreach Centers in American Falls (226-1009), Blackfoot (785-1848), Malad (766-2281), Montpelier (847-4230), Preston (852-3566), and Soda Springs (547-3843) and our Resident Centers in Meridian and Twin Falls.
