Notification of Student Rights Under FERPA
Idaho State University in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) law, is responsible for protecting and maintaining the privacy of student records and judiciously evaluating requests for release of information from those records. FERPA affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.
Who has FERPA Rights at the Post Secondary Level?
A student ‘in attendance’ (regardless of age - even if under eighteen) and former students.
